Oh my god! I am so bored. I am working what is probably my last day at Home Depot. I have been here since five-thirty, and jack shit has happened so far. I can't wait until ten o'clock so I can go home for my lunch break.

We cut a christmas tree with my parents today. It took longer to drive there and back than it did to watch my dad cut it down. He got a full head of steam going and didn't stop to let the rest of us take a cut at it like usual. :(

Mavericks won 1-0 in Bemidji. The Beavers play in the John Glas Fieldhouse, which is like the crappiest community rink I have ever seen. It is pretty crappy.

A Walk in the Fields

Went hunting on Thanksgiving Day. I fired two shots at pheasants, but missed both of them. Tara's cousin Adam did get one, and was nice enough to let me have it.

MSU Hockey starts tonight, against the evil Golden Gophers. I am hoping to be a TV star again, as the game is being broadcast from the Alltel Center to the rest of the world on FSN North

Going the Distance (Milestone, Part III)

Another seemingly meaningless number, this one from the end of my drive home today. My old truck, the Mitsubishi Mighty Max, died at 100,106 miles. This should be the last milestone post until I hit 200K, probably in about seven years or so.

Further Down the Road (Milestone, Part II)

This may not seem like a significant number, but it is. My truck had 99 miles on it when I took delivery, so that is my 100,000th mile as owner of the truck.

We are trying to eat healthy and work out to lose weight. I hope it goes well and we start seeing progress soon.

Lacrosse (not Wisconsin)

Went to another Swarm game. It is a lot of fun. We might have to get season tickets for next year.

Watch for flying objects!

Went to a MN Swarm lacrosse game at the Xcel Energy Center last night. It was a lot of fun. Lacrosse is a lot like hockey, and is very fast paced. I think I would like to go again.

Sick, Dude!

I am getting sick... three days before I am going on vacation. Just great. I guess that is how it always happens. I will have to double (or triple) up on the vitamin C to see if I can get better by then.

Digging my way back

I have finally dug my self out of the deep snow so that I can post again. In the mean time, it has been cold and finally snowed a ton. My bowling game has also dropped off with only three weeks left. I don't think I will get the most improved average if my average keeps dropping. Oh well. I am bowling for free, and it is for fun, right? I have started trying to lose weight, hopefully that works out for me this time. Edgar also got inspired to update his blog.
