Still Going Strong
Into our third week of working out. We have only missed one day so far, because we were both not feeling that great, and Tara was worn out from shoveling snow. Shoveling should count as a workout.

The break is over
Finally back to doing real workouts afer god only knows how long! we joined Snap Fitness on monday, and have gone three times now (M,W,F). it feels great to be working out again! once it thaws, we are going to start running outdoors as well. every time we have gone, i have done half hour of cardio, and half-hour plus of strenght machines. now, the key is going to be making a habit of it!
i have also started doing my daily pushups and situps. last summer, i was doing 50 each before work every day, but as the house search intensified, along with moving into the house and adjusting to a new routine there, the morning exercises fell to the wayside.

We need rain!
Went for a six and a half mile nature hike instead of running. Walked for about two hours. We saw a really small squirrel and chased it up a tree. I think we pissed its mom off. We also saw several ponds are almost dry.

Back at it
Ran again yesterday. 1.91 mile lap in exactly 19 minutes, 2 miles in 20:30. ran the whole time.

Eat like shit on Sunday, Feel like shit on Monday
We went out for pizza yesterday, the first time in close to a year that we had pizza out somewhere besides a slice here and there. It was pretty tasty, but we both ended up eating more than we should have, and feeling like crap on the walk home. We agreed on the walk home that we needed to drop off the leftovers and go for a nice long walk, so we walked our usual running route, a little short of 2 miles, in about 40 minutes. I have some of that horrible delicious stuff for lunch today. Hopefully it doesn't leave me feeling like it did yesterday. We are running tonight and I don't need that crap weighing me down.

Friday's Run
about 2 miles in about 20 minutes. getting better. i ran for 12 minutes again, walked three, ran five more. in 12 minutes i went farther than before, that is the important part for me.
